5th Edition

On April 14, 2026, the jubilee 5th edition of the MCSC Hospital Leadership Innovation competition launched.

The winners of this year’s edition will be announced at the grand finale gala, which will take place on October 15, 2026.

Competition Categories

The 5th edition of the competition seeks solutions in two main areas:

1. Technology addressing contemporary medical challenges, including:

home and hybrid monitoring – remote tracking of health parameters outside medical facilities,
digital self-care – applications, platforms, and devices supporting everyday health management,
modern medical devices – devices supporting prevention, diagnostics, and therapy,
AI in preventive and chronic medicine – algorithms supporting early detection and risk stratification,
solutions dedicated to lifestyle diseases.

2. Technology addressing organizational challenges of medical facilities, including:

automation of hospital administration and management,
analytics and support for management decision-making,
digital patient service.

Evaluation criteria

Submitted projects will be evaluated in terms of:

technological innovativeness,
real implementation potential,
scalability of solutions,
fit to the needs and capabilities of medical facilities,
potential for practical use and further development.

Jury

The Jury of the MCSC Hospital Leadership Innovation competition consists of experienced hospital leaders, clinical experts, healthcare managers, and innovation ecosystem representatives. The broad composition of the Jury enables a multidimensional evaluation of submitted projects — from medical, organizational, and strategic perspectives.

Programme Board

The role of the MCSC Hospital Leadership Innovation Programme Board is to set the directions for the development of the initiative and ensure the competition’s alignment with current needs of the healthcare system.

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors comprises directors of hospitals co-organizing the competition. Its task is to select the winning project from among the solutions recommended by the Programme Board.
