About the competition

The Mother and Child Startup Challenge (MCSC) competition was created to support innovation in the healthcare sector. Its goal was to promote solutions that revolutionize care for mothers and children. Over the years, the competition gained recognition among innovators worldwide, and in 2025, it is undergoing a significant evolution, changing its name to MCSC Hospital Leadership Innovation.

Why this change? Our mission hasn’t changed – we still aim to support breakthrough solutions in medicine. However, the competition’s new formula expands the scope of activities, covering all aspects of hospital work – both clinical and administrative. MCSC Hospital Leadership Innovation is a competition that opens doors for innovation in hospital management and the implementation of new medical technologies.

We want to create a dynamic ecosystem that will help medical facilities implement modern solutions, improving the quality of healthcare and management efficiency.

The main prize in the competition is the opportunity to pilot the winning solution at the Institute of Mother and Child and at the co-organizing hospitals.
