We are proud to announce that the MCSC Hospital Leadership Innovation project, submitted by the Institute of Mother and Child, has been selected for the final round of the prestigious International Hospital Federation (IHF) Awards 2025 in the category: Mastercard Award for Hospital Operational Excellence.
Our project – “MCSC Hospital Leadership Innovation: Supporting healthcare innovation and collaboration between hospitals, innovators and decision-makers” – was chosen from over 700 submissions across 37 countries. The finalists were selected by an international jury of 61 experts representing medical, academic, and institutional communities from around the world.
This award recognizes hospitals that demonstrate outstanding performance in operational efficiency. The jury evaluates factors such as productivity, financial stability, improved access to services, patient satisfaction and engagement, as well as staff satisfaction and reduced turnover.
Recognized Project
MCSC Hospital Leadership Innovation is a unique, nationwide initiative supporting the development and implementation of innovation in the healthcare sector. Our network currently includes 16 hospitals from across Poland.
MCSC serves as a collaborative platform connecting hospitals, startups, academia, and public administration. Its goal is to improve operational processes in medical facilities and to test and implement solutions with real clinical, organizational, and systemic value.
To make this possible, we launched an open, international innovation challenge. Innovators from around the world can submit their solutions, and the winning project is tested in real hospital conditions. The ongoing fourth edition of the competition has already received 90 submissions – the highest number in the initiative’s history!
