On November 7, 2024, the awards ceremony for the competition laureates and finalists took place at the State Medical Institute. Among them were as many as 4 projects from the Institute of Mother and Child.
“Zdrowa Przyszłość – Inspiracje” (Healthy Future – Inspirations) is a competition aimed at promoting continuous improvement in the quality of medical services, preventive actions, and enhancing work safety. The organizer is Idea Trade, coordinator of the “Bezpieczny Szpital Przyszłości” (Safe Hospital of the Future) program.
Hospitals, foundations, local governments, and commercial companies can apply to the competition. This year, over 200 projects were qualified for evaluation by the Chapter, and the Institute of Mother and Child was recognized in the following categories:
Category “Innovations in the hospital – medicine – novel treatment methods”
- Finalist: “First administration of SMA drug to a pregnant woman in Europe”
- Finalist: “Proprietary non-commercial pediatric clinical trials”
Category “Novel products and services improving quality of life, health, and access to services”
- Place VI: “Organization of the Mother and Child Startup Challenge competition and pilot implementations of startup solutions”
Category “Actions for health and environmental protection”
- Place IV – “Social and educational campaign (P)okaż serce [(Sh)ow your heart]”.
