Clinical investigations of medical devices are key to innovation and safety, which is why MCSC Hospital Leadership Innovation is pleased to provide Content Patronage for the next edition of the National Conference “Clinical Investigations of Medical Devices”.
The third installment of Poland’s largest conference dedicated to clinical investigations
of medical devices and performance studies of in vitro diagnostic medical devices will take place at the Hotel Fokus, ul. Suwak 15.
Agenda
This year, the organizers have proposed 4 thematic blocks during which experts will discuss:
- preparing devices for clinical investigations,
- conducting investigations,
- obligations incumbent on manufacturers after their completion,
- current regulations and good practices in the industry.
Topics include issues such as: clinical data quality, AI-based medical devices, Annex XVI devices, or the coordinated assessment procedure. There will also be discussions on device classification.

Speakers
Every year, the conference features outstanding specialists in the field of clinical investigations and medical devices, as well as representatives from governmental and non-governmental organizations, the world of science, and the medical sector.
This year, one of the speakers will be Nikoletta Buczek, Innovation Manager at the Implementation Department – Center for Innovation and Artificial Intelligence, IMiD, who will deliver a lecture titled “Hospital as an innovation laboratory – challenges and good practices in testing new medical technologies”. Among the speakers at the III National Conference “Clinical Investigations of Medical Devices” will be, among others: Prof. Tomasz Banasiewicz, MD, PhD – Head of the Department and Clinic of General, Endocrine Surgery and Gastroenterological Oncology at the Poznan University of Medical Sciences, Łukasz Sosnowski – leader of the NIL IN project, Klaudia Gutowska – resident at the Clinic of Obstetrics and Gynecology, IMiD, and Dr. Maciej Kawecki – technology popularizer, science journalist, and author of the technology channel This is IT.
Organizers
The organizers of the 3rd edition of BKWM are the Association for Good Clinical Practice in Poland and the law firm Fairfield.
The Association brings together approx. 1000 members, mainly employees of pharmaceutical companies and CROs, physician-investigators, pharmacists, and lawyers. Fairfield, on the other hand, is a law firm specializing in serving healthcare entities in Poland.
